YORKVILLE, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff's office is working with the Kendall County coroner to identify a person found dead in the Fox River Friday evening. Police said deputies responded to the area of Quinsey Lane in Yorkville at around 5:16 p.m. after kayakers found what they believed to be a dead body in the Fox River.
Police said a deceased individual was located by investigators. Authorities are working to identify the person and establish a cause and manner of death.
Police said they expect to release more information as it becomes available.
