2022-0410, In-State Warrant: On 02/07/22 at 5:50 am, Sheriff’s Deputies assisted the Illinois Attorney General’s Office Police with a warrant service in the 600 block of Rance Rd. in Oswego Township. Contact was made with Enrique Montano, a 46-year-old male from the 600 block of Rance Rd. in Oswego, who was wanted on a Kane County warrant for Aggravated Home Repair Fraud. Bond on the warrant was set at $75,000/10%. Montano was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

2022-0417, In-State Warrant: On 02/07/22 at 12:05 pm, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 7900 block of Van Emmon Road in Oswego Township to serve an arrest warrant. Contact was made with Matias Escalante, a 65-year-old male from the 7900 block of Van Emmon Road in Yorkville, who was wanted on a Kendall County warrant for possession of a firearm without a FOID card. Escalante was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.
2022-0420, Domestic Battery: On 02/07/22 at 3:49 pm, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Rocky Way in Oswego Township for a report of a domestic battery. During the investigation, a 16-year-old male from the 0-99 block of Rocky Way in Montgomery was arrested for domestic battery. He was transported to the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center to be detained until a court hearing.
2022-0422, Leaving the Scene of an Accident: On 02/07/22 at 5:08 pm, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of Sandy Bluff Rd. and Millhurst Rd. in Fox Township for a report of a property damage accident in which one of the parties left the scene. The incident is under investigation.
2022-0425, Aggravated Battery: On 02/07/22 at 8:35 pm, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Public Safety Center for a report of a battery which occurred at the Kendall County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
2022-0426, DUI: On 02/08/22 at 12:26 am, Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop for improper lane usage on Edward St. near Mitchell Dr. in Little Rock Township. The driver of the vehicle, John Murray, a 35-year-old male from the 3200 block of Edward St. in Plano, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Murray was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.
The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
