New Nothing Bundt Cakes in Yorkville Set to Host Community

Faisal Raja and wife Roxanna are celebrating the opening of their ninth Nothing Bundt Cakes in the region. With its small town charm, the Rajas have found Yorkville to be a perfect fit for their bakery. “Nothing Bundt Cakes has a personality similar to Yorkville with a bit of nostalgia and welcoming charm paired with a modern approach,” shared Mr. Raja. “We are truly one big family, and that extends into the communities we serve. We look forward to blessing this city and this area for years to come.” The bakery opened on September 1 and will host grand opening festivities for the community September 29-October 4 (see details below).

GRAND OPENING EVENTS

• Monday-Sunday, September 29-October 5
  • Community Appreciation Days – The following will receive a Free Bundtlet on their designated day/s: Monday – City Employees; Tuesday/Wednesday – First Responders and Military; Thursday/Friday – Teachers and School Staff; Saturday/Sunday – Healthcare Workers
• Friday, October 3
  • Cal’s Angels Benefit Day – 20% of sales will be donated to this organization dedicated to granting wishes, raising pediatric cancer awareness and funding research to help kids fighting cancer
• Saturday, October 4
  • 9 a.m. – Free Bundtlets for a Year – The first 50 guests age 18+ will receive a Free Bundtlets for a Year punch card which can be redeemed for one Bundtlet per month for twelve months

Nothing Bundt Cakes is located at 731 Erica Lane and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The luscious cakes are baked daily using the finest ingredients, including real eggs, butter and cream cheese, in 40 unique designs and 10 delicious flavors.
