• Companies raise $84K for area nonprofits during charity golf outing (wbiw.com) — A major regional charity golf outing at White Hawk Country Club in Crown Point raised $84,000 this year for five area nonprofits, more than doubling donations from two years ago. Organizers have already locked in Sept. 17–18, 2026, for the next Hard Hat Charity Golf Outing in Crown Point and are urging early registration as the event typically sells out well in advance.
