Here are the top three stories in Indianapolis today:

  1. An East Indianapolis church will be giving away free gas this weekend. On Saturday between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. (or for as long as the supply lasts), Senior Pastor Bishop Lambert W. Gates, Sr., and members of Kingdom Apostolic Ministries will pump gas for drivers at the Marathon station, located at 5060 E. 38th St. near Emerson Avenue. Drivers don't need an appointment, voucher, or registration to get free gas. (WTHR)
  2. For the first time ever, renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will be performing in Indiana later this year. Bocelli recently announced an upcoming U.S. tour with 11 shows, including one with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra on Dec. 7 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tickets go on sale on Apr. 11 at 10:00 a.m. (WFYI)
  3. A 15-year-old boy was wounded as shots were fired at a west side apartment. Numerous shots were fired from outside into the apartment in the 7600 block of W. 10th Street near N. Girls School Road. at around 12:15 a.m., according to police. At least one adult and multiple children were inside at the time. The victim, who was struck in the hand, was taken to a level one trauma center and was stable at last check, police said. (FOX 59 Indianapolis)
