• IU family makes Rose Bowl plans nearly 60 years after grandparents attended the game (wthr.com) — An Indianapolis-based IU alumnus is carrying on his grandparents’ Rose Bowl tradition nearly 60 years after they first flew to Pasadena to watch the Hoosiers. Clay Patton, a third-generation IU grad, is taking his wife and daughters to this year’s game, honoring decades of devoted family fandom that began with his grandparents’ long-running support for IU football.
   

• US Rep. Stutzman: Expand health savings accounts or similar (wishtv.com) — A planned U.S. Department of Agriculture regional headquarters in Indianapolis could be affected as Rep. Marlin Stutzman warns that Indiana’s rejection of new Congressional maps may carry financial consequences. In a News 8 interview, he pushes redirecting Affordable Care Act subsidies into health savings accounts, while also backing F-35 investments in Fort Wayne and upgrades to U.S. 30.
