Experience Holiday Magic at The Shops at Perry Crossing

PLAINFIELD, IN., (Nov. 15, 2024)—The Shops at Perry Crossing announced it is gearing up for the holiday season with a festive line-up of free family-friendly events, including community favorite the return of the annual Tree Lighting & Parade.

“We're thrilled to be the go-to holiday hub for our community during the holiday season,” said Mandy Bishop, marketing manager at The Shops at Perry Crossing. “This year, we’re hosting popup events throughout the season, alongside beloved traditions such as Reindeer Days in Town Square and Photos with Santa. Our goal is to provide enjoyable and safe activities for families to share and make unforgettable memories together, as well as serve as their one-stop-shop for all things holiday shopping.”

The Shops at Perry Crossing holiday event line-up includes:

• Cocoa Crawl - Now through Fri., Feb. 28
  • Grab family or friends for a wintertime chocolate-inspired tour!
  • The self-guided, pay-as-you-go Cocoa Crawl tour offers a unique chocolate experience with a variety of stores. Share a dessert or two and make memories by tagging the center in social posts @ShopPerryCrossing.

• Reindeer Days in Town Square - Sat., Nov. 23 - Sat., Dec. 21
  • From Thanksgiving to Christmas, take pictures with an elf and a real reindeer in front of the center’s 54-foot holiday tree
    • Annual Tree Lighting (Special Appearance) from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
    • Black Friday (Special Appearance) from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
    • Select Saturdays in December from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

• Annual Tree Lighting & Parade - Sat., Nov. 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Witness the lighting of the big tree by Santa Claus and a parade with live music and costume characters with live reindeer located at the circle around Town Square.

• Black Friday Versiti Blood Drive - Fri., Nov. 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Every blood donation is used to support the community and hospitals that are in high demand.
  • All pre-registered donors will receive a $15 e-gift card for those who participate in our Black Friday Blood Drive event.
  • Guests are encouraged to register; however, walk-ups are welcome.

• Photos with Santa - Fri., Nov. 29 - Tuesday, Dec. 24
  • Santa is headed back to visit The Shops at Perry Crossing!
  • Families can enjoy the magic of the season and capture photos to make holiday memories in our Holiday Studio located across from Old Navy.
  • Photo packages are available for purchase starting at $25.99.
  • Check the website for Santa Hours starting on Black Friday to Christmas Eve.

A fire pit is available for guests to enjoy all season long located in the Dick’s Sporting Goods plaza on Marketplace Mile. The Town Square gazebo also features a fireplace to keep warm and rest during your visit. All events are weather-dependent and may be canceled at any time. No outside food, beverages or coolers are permitted at the events.
