Here are the top three stories today in Indianapolis:
- Five families are suing FedEx over the deadly mass shooting in Indianapolis last year. The shooting, which took the lives of eight people, occurred on Apr. 15, 2021 at the FedEx Ground facility at 8951 Mirabel Road, just south of I-70 near Ameriplex Parkway. The lawsuit was filed by families of victims who were not clocked in and working at the time of the shooting. (WTHR)
- Rock band Dashboard Confessional and singer-songwriter Andrew McMahon will be performing at Holliday Park in Indy this summer. The artists will be performing as part of the Rock the Ruins summer concert series, with Rock band Armor for Sleep opening the show. The show will take place on Aug. 4 and tickets go on sale Friday. - Dance Kaleidoscope will be sharing the stage with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra next month. The dance organization will be celebrating the art of dance, specifically the Martha Graham technique, by performing alongside the orchestra and pianist Drew Peterson. Performances will take place on May 20-22 at the Schrott Center for the Arts for its Music Moves concert. (FOX 59 Indianapolis)
