DPW crews will use new equipment to fix city streets as part of the program, and could start as early as Feb. 11, DPW said.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett and the Department of Public Works Street Maintenance Team announced Tuesday the city's first phase of the 2019 strip-patching program, just one day after DPW crews filled more than 2,000 potholes. The DPW Street Maintenance Team said crews will use new equipment to fix city streets as part of the program, possibly as early as next week as asphalt plants could open as early as next Monday.
Strip-patching includes resurfacing potholes with a layer of new asphalt.
Some of the city's first locations to be repaired include Westfield Boulevard, 16th Street and 10th Street.
