Squared Circle Expo Returns 3/29-30
Wrestling convention SCX IV comes to Indy 3/29-30. The first guests announced are Sting, Kane, Ted DiBiase and Mike Rotunda.

Squared Circle Expo IV is just five short months away. The best wrestling-related convention returns to Indianapolis March 29-30.
The debut of SCX was a major success. Two days of meet-and-greets started the weekend and one night of great wrestling ended the weekend on Saturday night.
With many years of conventions on their resumes, the promoters used their experience to organize and run a very smooth event. By Friday night, attendees were already asking about a possible SCX II. A year later, SCX II did happen, followed bt SCX III last year. Each somehow managed to top the previous. This year promises to be the best yet.

The first wrestler guest announcement was the icon Sting, who recently announced his retirement scheduled for All Elite Wrestling's “Revolution” event, which takes place in March. This could be Sting's first post-retirement appearance.

The next guest announcement was the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. The political leader is probably better known as The Big Red Machine Kane (aka Glenn Jacobs).

Starting with the announcement of Sting and Kane is huge, but the promoters were just getting started. Ted DiBiase and Mike Rotunda were next to be revealed. Having previously met all of them, I can attest to how engaging they are as convention guests.

This is just the start of what will become a long list of legends and current stars. Last year, the list neared 70. That's an incredible amount of talent for any convention. Even casual wrestling fans found plenty of names to interest them. Hardcore fans, like my friends and I had to work on logistics to make sure we got everyone we wanted.
SCX is a convention for the wrestling fans, run by dedicated folks. There will be photo ops, meet-and-greets, panels, Q&As, vendors and more, including full wrestling cards on both nights. My focus is mostly on meeting the talent, but I also meander through the vendor area, picking up assorted bits of merchandise. My friends and I also feel the wrestling itself is some of the best we've ever seen anywhere.
All of the fun starts on Friday, March 29 at the Wyndham Indianapolis West. It's not too early to make your plans. Tickets and rooms are selling fast. If the Wyndham is sold out, there are several other fine hotels within a very short drive (or even walking distance). Either way, go the SquaredCircleX.com and secure your plans. I will be posting updates as they are announced. A lot more coverage is coming. I will be “On the Beat” as usual and I hope to see all of my friends there.
