• Multicounty police chase ends with driver's arrest in Warren County crash (wishtv.com) — A Friday night police chase that began on State Road 25 just southwest of Lafayette ended with a crash and arrest in rural Warren County. State police say a 19-year-old Williamsport man allegedly fled a traffic stop, led officers through multiple counties, and was taken into custody without injury. Charges are pending in Tippecanoe Superior Court.
   

• Indiana State Police K9 Draco has received a donation of body armor (wbiw.com) — Indiana State Police based in Lafayette now have added protection for K9 Draco, who just received a donated bullet- and stab-resistant vest from nonprofit Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. The group has supplied thousands of custom-fitted vests nationwide and continues to seek donations and volunteers to outfit more law-enforcement dogs across the country.
