Enjoying a Scoop or Two with a Smile

Residents of Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne Enjoying a Scoop or Two with a Smile

They’re out and about, enjoying the beautiful weather.

Heritage Pointe of Ft. Wayne senior living community’s bus is frequently seen around town as the residents visit fun and sometimes decadent destinations. With spring just around the corner, residents of the senior living community indulged last week in a spontaneous trip to Dairy Sweet in nearby Grabill, Indiana.

Amber Hadley, Activity Coordinator for Wurley Memory Care at Heritage Pointe of Ft. Wayne, said that the residents take quick trips as often as possible. “They love to try new foods and different kinds of restaurants. They love going to the zoo, and this past autumn, they enjoyed an outing to the pumpkin patch. We, in turn, love pampering them, so our outings always make the residents and the staff very happy.”
