All American Car Show Labor Day Weekend in Ames

The might be no more, but the All American Car Show by the Iowa Street Rod Association is still on over the Labor Day weekend.

The show takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. 

Here are some other things you can do if you stay home this weekend:

Reiman Gardens

will be open extra hours through Monday. People can visit the garden 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. all weekend long.

Iowa State Sports

Two kinds of football will take place on Iowa State University campus over Labor Day weekend. Iowa State University will face off against the University of Iowa in a soccer match 7 p.m. Friday at the ISU Soccer Complex. Saturday the ISU Cyclone football team faces Tulsa Golden Hurricane at 2:30 p.m. in Jack Trice Stadium.

DG's Tap House

People can see both Mumford's w/Volcano Boys, at 9 p.m. Friday and The Beach Toys & Flavor Basket and Joel Dangerous 10 p.m. Saturday at . Tickets to Friday's show are $25. Tickets to Saturday's show is $5.

Swim

Monday is 's last official day of the season. Tot time, adult laps and water walking will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Open swim will take place from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday Sept. 3.
