Ames Cupcake Emporium announced the winner of its Third Annual Cupcake Eating Contest held July 4th.

Jack Heikens placed first by eating 10 cupcakes in three minutes. The contest was too close to call and had to be determined by weight. Heikens won by eating 20 grams more than other contestants.
