“Stangeland has served the Mitchell School Community well for the past five years. While I know they will miss her there, her strong instructional leadership and her passion for middle-level students make her a great match for Ames Middle School. She and Anderson will work together to ensure a smooth transition over the course of the summer,” Taylor said.
Before coming to Ames, Stangeland was K-12 principal at Graettinger-Terril Community School District. Her classroom experience includes special education and middle school English.
