Ames Middle School Principal Announced He is Leaving

Principal Jeff Anderson, who has served as the principal for the past decade, announced he would leave the school Tuesday. 

He won't be going far however.

Anderson plans to become an associate principal at pending board approval June 4. 

Ames Community School District Tim Taylor said he plans to give internal candidates first priority in the search for a replacement due to the timing of the vacancy.
