Ames Residents Involved in Memorial Day Accident
A woman was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center with possible injuries Monday.

An Ames woman was taken to Mary Greeley Medical Center for possible injuries in a single-vehicle car accident Monday, according to a release from the Story County Sheriff's Office.
Joseph Hallman, of Ames, was headed south on Interstate 35 about 1:30 p.m. Monday, when a tire on his vehicle blew out and Hallman lost control, according to a release from the Story County Sheriff.
Following the blow out, Hallman's vehicle entered the west ditch and rolled before coming to rest in an upright position. A passenger in the vehicle, Susan Hallman of Ames, was transported by ambulance to Mary Greeley Medical Center for possible injuries, the release stated. Â
