Ames Weather this Week

Hazardous weather and high temperatures are expected all week.

The National Weather Service expects highs in the mid 90s through Saturday according to the latest extended forecast.

Monday's and Tuesday's high is expected to reach 95 degrees and Fourth of July's high is expected to reach 97 degrees.

A hazardous weather statement said to expect hot and humid weather with heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees in the afternoon throughout the work week.
