What the National Weather Service thinks Mother Nature has in store for us.
Ames residents should have a week of highs somewhere in the 80s for the last full week of summer break.Â
School begins in Ames Aug. 23. and Aug. 16 in Gilbert.
Monday's high is expected to reach 79 degrees. Tuesday's expected high is 83 and Wednesday's high is expected to reach 88 degrees. Possible showers are expected Wednesday night into Thursday.Â
