Ames Weather This Week

Sun, rain and temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s are in store in Ames for this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday's high is expected to reach about 90 degrees but there's a chance of thunder showers late Monday that will also bring cooler temperatures.

A high of 91 is expected Tuesday and highs in the 80s are expected the rest of the week.

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Light and variable wind becoming north 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 64. North northeast wind 3 to 7 mph.
Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87.
Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 66.
Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 60.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 60.
