 High temperatures and thunder showers are included in the Ames weather forecast through the week, according to the National Weather Service.
Today's high is expected to reach 93 degrees, but there is also a chance of thundershowers after 1 p.m. Highs in the 90s are also expected Tuesday and Wednesday. And chances of thundershowers return Wednesday and Thursday.
Expected highs should drop to the mid 80s by the weekend, the National Weather Service weather report stated.
