Ames Weekend Weather

The weather you can expect this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

This weekend's weather starts off sunny with a high in the low to mid 80s and sun and goes downhill from there, unless of course, you like the rain.

Friday's high is expected to reach about 84 degrees.

But on Saturday there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high in the lower 80s.

The sun is expected to come back out on Sunday. The National Weather Service predicted a high near 86.
