Commission Accepts Registrations for FACES

AMES, Iowa - The Ames Human Relations Commission is accepting booth registrations for FACES of Ames. The event is planned for Saturday, Sept. 22 at Bandshell Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is open to all Ames community organizations and businesses. 

FACES of Ames is a family friendly event that celebrates the residents, organizations, and businesses that come together to define and unite the community. FACES promotes inclusiveness, welcomes new residents, and builds relationships within our community. There will be live entertainment, booths, food, and much more to celebrate the diversity in Ames. 

Groups are able to set up a booth to engage with community members, provide entertainment during the event, or do both. This is an exciting opportunity to recruit and promote your organization to the Ames community! Booth registration is free to all non-profit and Iowa State University organizations.  There is a $25 booth fee for local businesses.
