Brett D. McLain of the Story County Commission of Veterans Affairs is in search of the oldest veteran in Story County. 

Bill Schaefer a Grandview professor would like to photograph the oldest living Iowa veteran. The oldest Iowa veteran that McLain knows of is Ken Persels who is 100 and is living in Osceola.
