Ames, Iowa - A school supply drive will be held at Sherwin-Williams in Ames to help local school children get the tools they need for a successful school year. Now until July 20th, donations of new school supply items can be dropped off at Sherwin-Williams at 1624 South Duff Avenue in Ames.
All donated school supplies will be distributed to children in the Ames Community School District who are in need of these items. Some recommended items by the Ames Community School District include: 24 count crayons, large pink erasers, Elmer’s 4 oz liquid glue, Elmer’s glue sticks, 12 count yellow #2 pencils, and 12 count colored pencils.
