Ames High Symphonic Band Hosts Concordia College Band

The Ames High School Symphonic Band will host a joint concert with the Concordia College Band at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17 in the Ames High Auditorium.  

The Concordia College Band, from Moorehead, Minn., is one of Concordia College's oldest and most distinguished performing ensembles.  Since its formation in 1899, the band has earned national and international recognition. Under the direction of Dr. Scott A. Jones, the Band is performing in Ames as a part of its tour of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and South Dakota.
