Holidays Can Mean Family Conflict

On Saturday, Dec. 17, CBC Conciliation Ministries will be presenting a 90 minute workshop on how to use Biblical Principles to work through stressful holiday situations. Scott Owen, candidate for conciliation certification will be the presenter.

Dave and Becky Knudson, local business owners are hosting the free event that will meet at the Ames Public Library (upstairs in the Community Room) from 10 – 11:30 a.m. The Knudsons have a deep concern for Ames and the surrounding areas and a confidence in the healing power of biblical principles.

Some key tools offered include: 
- How to use the PAUSE principle to negotiate 
- How to use the AHA method to shed light on your conflict 
- Three steps to a better attitude when facing conflict 
Materials used are from the Peacemaker Ministries. 
The workshop is free and attendees will be exposed to other materials and future opportunities. 
Light refreshments will be served. No child care will be provided.
