The public is invited to hear “Jews for Jesus” member Eli Burnbaum present “Christ in the Passover” on 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29 at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1416 20thStreet (across from Ames High School).
Burnbaum will explain the traditional Jewish Passover service and explain how it foreshadowed Jesus’ death and resurrection. His presentation will show the connection between the events of the first Passover in Egypt and the bond between the ancient Passover feast and the contemporary Christian communion, and conclude with a question-and-answer session.
