The Ames League of Women Voters will hold the first 2012 Legislative Wake-Up Forum on Saturday, at Ames City Hall, 515 Clark Ave in the city council chambers. Co-sponsor for the forum will be Youth and Shelter Services. Coffee, tea, juice and rolls will be available at 8:30 a.m. The forum will be held from 8:45 a.m.-10 a.m. It will be broadcast live on Cable Channel 12 and rebroadcast the following week on Cable Channel 16. It will be streamed live from the city website, www.cityofames.org.    Legislators invited are Representatives Deyoe, Heddens and Wessel-Kroeschell and Senators Bacon and Quirmbach.  Following the legislators opening remarks  the forum will be opened for questions from the audience. The public is encouraged to attend.
