Public artist Norie Sato will discuss the contexts, importance of site, and the site’s function in her public art installations on ISU campus during an artist lecture starting at 4:10 p.m. April 4 at 1352 Gilman Hall.
Sato has now completed two public art projects at Iowa State University – e+l+e+m+e+n+t+a+l (2010-11) at Hatch Hall and One, Now, All (2000) in the Palmer Building.Â
A reception will follow her lecture from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Hach Hall. That event includes a walk through her site-specific installatione+l+e+m+e+n+t+a+l. Light refreshments will be provided.  Â
