Chanticleer, a Grammy Award-winning "orchestra of voices" was named Ensemble of the Year by Musical America in 2008. The San Francisco Chronicle praised Chanticleer for their "tonal luxuriance and crisply etched clarity."

Named for the "clear-singing" rooster in Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, Chanticleer was founded in 1978. This men's chorus has become known around the world its seemless blend of voices, ranging from soprano to bass. They sing Renaissance, jazz, gospel and more.
