Join Story County Conservation as they host the program "The Science and Stories of Sasquatch" 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3.
Guest Naturalist Mike Havlik will give the family-friendly presentation at the Story County Conservation Center at McFarland Park (56461 180th St.) northeast of Ames. There is no fee to attend the program; pre-registration is requested by 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 1. Mike Havlik is a passionate naturalist, gonzo birder, amateur musician, and Sasquatch enthusiast. Enjoy an enlightening look at the information he has gathered on this great mystery. Mike will point out inconsistencies in Sasquatch stories and look at the science surrounding this elusive and intelligent creature.
