Trail Workday on the Greenbelt

TEAM up with the Story County Trails Advisory Committee this spring! Join Story County Conservation for a TEAM (Trail Enhancement And Management) Day on Saturday, March 31 at 1 p.m. Volunteers will be working along the E-18 Greenbelt Trail near Story City.

Trails Advisory Committee members will be doing trail clean-up and widening on the Skunk River Greenbelt (mostly working on the “old loop” trail), so come ready to roll up your sleeves and dig in!

All volunteers are asked to bring a water bottle and dress for the weather; long sleeved shirts, pants, gloves, and sturdy, close-toed shoes are strongly recommended.

Participants will meet at the E-18 Greenbelt Access parking area, 0.2 miles west of I-35 on County Road E-18.

If you like the outdoors and want a hands-on volunteer experience – we’d love to see you helping with this Story County trail! Registration is required by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, to ensure that we can provide a sufficient amount of supplies.
