Story County Medical Center will be offering ADULT flu shots on a walk-in basis Nov. 28 – Nov. 30 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The vaccinations will be given at Story County Medical Center’s South Campus, located at 640 S. 19th Street in Nevada, Iowa. No appointments are necessary; patients should register at the main entrance desk. Handicap parking and assistance into the building are available as needed.
The cost of the vaccination will be $25. Payment is due at the time of service except for patients with Medicare Part B, which covers the cost of the flu vaccination. All Medicare recipients must present a current card upon arrival to receive the vaccination without charge.

Story Medical will only be vaccinating adults (18 years of age and older) at the public flu clinic. Parents should schedule an appointment for their child(ren) to receive the vaccination(s) with their family healthcare provider.
