Funeral Services Set for Ames Police Sergeant

The funeral of , 51, who presumably drowned Sunday in Lake Geode at Geode State Park, has been set.

Snider's visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Adams Funeral Home on Douglas Avenue. Snider's funeral service will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Church, 56829 US Highway 30.

Snider's death remains under investigation by the Henry County Sheriff's Office and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.  His body was recovered from the lake about 6 p.m. Sunday.
