ISU Athlete Accused of Stealing 40 Bikes
Iowa State University Track Team member Collin Fett charged in alleged bike theft.

Several news outlets are reporting that Iowa State Univeristy track member, Collin Fett, 20, originally of Algona, stole bicycles from campus and then sold them on the internet.
Fett has pleaded not guilty to second-degree theft charges. According to court records available online, Fett was charged June 14.
Iowa State University Police said they found 40 bicycles in Fett's basement. Court documents obtained by the Ames Tribune said Fett admitted to using bolt cutters to steal the bikes and KCRG reported that Fett showed investigators records for bicycles he had sold on Craigslist.

Fett who throws the hammer for the Iowa State University Track Team has been suspended from competition.
Second-degree theft is a Class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison and or a $7,500 fine.
