ISU Athletes Compete in the NCAA Championships in Des Moines
Local athletes compete in several events at Drake Stadium in NCAA Championships Outdoor Track & Field.

If you're an ISU Cyclone fan and you're watching the NCAA Championships, which began today at Drake Stadium in Des Moines you'll have a handful of athletes to keep your eye on through Saturday.
- Edward Kemboi, sophomore, competes in the men's 800-meters semifinals at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.
- Ian Warner, a senior, will compete in the 100-meter semifinals at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.
- Ese Okoro, a graduate student, will compete in the 400-meter hurdle semifinals at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
- Kianna Elahi, a senior, will compete in the 400-meter hurdle semifinals at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
- Thursday Cameron Ostrowski, a sophomore, will compete in the high jump at 5:30 p.m.
- Meaghan Nelson, a senior, competes in the 10,000-meter contest. The 10,000-meter woman's final is at 8:45 p.m.
- Friday Danielle Frere, a senior, competes in the shot put starting at 5 p.m. Friday.
- Hayli Bozarth, a senior, competes in the shot put 5 p.m. Friday as well.

"Every person we have competing can score," Ihmels said. "It really is doing what they did to get here. At this stage the work has been finished. This is what we have practiced for all season long."
