January Thaw: Ames Weather Looks to Warm this Week
Expect some chance for precipitation, but temperatures should stay about freezing this week.
If you have a chance this week, head outside and enjoy the nice warm(ing) weather.
According to a forecast from the National Weather Service in the Des Moines, high temperatures in Ames look as if they will hover in the low 40s for most of the week. Weather website Weather Underground predicts it could be a little cooler than that.
And Thursday could bring a good chance for rain, with a chance of freezing drizzle on Friday and on Saturday the snow could return.
