Kal Penn Comes to Ames for Obama

Former actor Kal Penn of "House" and "Harold and Kumar" Stumps for Obama in Ames and Des Moines Friday.

Actor Kal Penn, who serves as President Barack Obama's campaign co-chair, will make two stops in Iowa Friday in an effort to rally young voters.

Penn, who left the Fox television series "House" in 2009 to work for the Office of Public Engagement, will arrive in Ames about 2 p.m. to meet with students at the Ames at 413 Northwestern Ave.

He will also meet with young voters in Des Moines at noon at the Des Moines OFA Office at 2932 Ingersoll Ave.
