Looking for a Job? Solum Job Fair at ISU Today

Solum, Inc. will hold a career fair from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Reiman South Ballroom at the at the  Alumni Center, 420 Beach Ave.

The fair will help facilitate Solum's plans to expand in Ames the  announced recently.The company received a $100,000 grant from the Iowa Economic Development Authority and plans to build a laboratory in Ames, according to a report in Silicone Prairie News.

Solum develops advanced measurement systems and software solutions to increase production on agricultural land. The laboratory will employ 25 people full-time and up to 40 additional part-time or seasonal jobs.
