Obama Heartland Tour 2012 With Ashley Judd and Ben McKenzie Comes to Ames Friday
Ashley Judd and Ben McKenzie will stop in Ames Friday as part of the Obama campaign's Heartland Tour. Their visit comes just a day before the president makes his 7th Iowa appearance of the year Saturday at Living History Farms in Urbandale.

Actress Ashley Judd and actor Ben McKenzie will stop for coffee at the Friday morning to campaign for President Barack Obama.
The pair is on the “Heartland Tour 2012: Moving the Middle Class Forward” RV campaign tour which made stops across the state of Iowa during the Republican National Convention. People are asked to arrive at the Ames Women's for Obama Coffee by 9:15 a.m. Friday.

Judd and McKenzie are among a handful of celebrities who have visited the state in support of Obama. visited with young voters in Ames and passed out tickets to Obama's Boone appearance.
