A surprise package from Washington D. C. arrived at 's community garden Saturday. 

About seven children and their parents gathered in the garden 10 a.m. Saturday to see what was in the box.

In March, five students and their parents were invited by Michelle Obama to participate in the White House Kitchen Garden spring planting. And it turned out that some of what they had planted: broccoli, peas, onion and lettuce had been overnighted from Washington D.C. along with a soup recipie.
