Royce White Basketball Goes to ISU Student from Independence
Tony Barker won a basketball signed by Royce White in a recent Patch.com drawing.

Tony Barker, a junior studying biology at , won a signed basketball at WelcomeFest held at Iowa State on Aug. 22.
He was one of more than 400 people who entered to win the ball signed by former Cyclone Basketball player White, who was drafted to the Houston Rockets after playing at Iowa State for just one season.
Barker, who comes from Independence, said he was excited about the news.

“I signed up for a lot of things at WelcomeFest, but I never expected to win anything,” Barker said.
Barker, an avid sports fan, watched White in action during his sophomore year.

“We are going to miss him,” Barker said. “That's for sure.”
