“Christie Vilsack is running for Congress because the small towns and cities in the 4th Congressional District deserve someone who will fight to create jobs and economic opportunity. Congressman King has had ten years to do that in Congress, but he has been more concerned about his own interests. Accepting five pay raises for himself and asking working families, seniors, and students to tighten their belts isn’t the leadership that Iowans expect or deserve. We look forward to giving Congressman King the opportunity to explain his record and have a serious conversation about the issues.”
