Steve King Speaks at Judge Joseph Story Annual Dinner

Congressman King who faces Christie Vilsack in his bid for Iowa's new 4th District speaks July 16.

Story County Republicans announced this week that Congressman Steve King will be the keynote speaker at the Story County Republicans 2nd Annual Judge Joseph Story Dinner July 16 at , 300 S. 17th St. in Ames.

King, R-Kiron, faces Ames Democrat Christie Vilsack for Iowa's new 4th District. King has served western Iowa as a representive for the 5th District since 2003.

The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $30 per person, $55 a couple, or $160 for a table of 6. A silent auction will also be held, with many autographed items available. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Simon Conway who hosts a weekday drive-time talk radio program on WHO Radio from 4 to 7 p.m. will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the event.
