Man Allegedly Sold Ice Meth in Ames
Complaints say the man sold or arranged the sale of ice meth twice in May.

A Story City man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver methamphetamine and conspiracy with intent to deliver methamphetamine both Class C felonies.
Juan Franco-Olivo, 36, Story City, was charged in Ames on July 14 after an ongoing investigation by the Central Iowa Drug Task Force.
Criminal complaints said Franco-Olivo sold 2.7 grams of ice meth to an informant in the 3,000 block of Grand Avenue on May 24 and on May 7 arranged for the sale of ice meth.

He is currently being held at the Story County Jail on bonds amounting to $20,000.
Class C felonies are punishable by up to 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
