Three Charged After Sexual Assault Reported at Peterson Pits Park
Mason Reilly, David Price and James Carsel have all been charged with second-degree sexual assault.

One man and two teens have been charged with second-degree sexual assault for allegedly kidnapping a 17-year-old Hamilton County girl from her own back yard and raping her at Peterson Park northeast of Ames, according to a release from the Story County Sheriff's Office.
Mason McKay Reilly, 20, of 170th Street, David Duane Price, 16, Dickinson Avenue, both of Ames and 16-year-old James William Carsel, of Boone, all received the same charge. Second-degree sexual assault is a Class B Felony punishable by 25 years in prison.
An Ames woman reportedly called 911 just before 3 p.m. Thursday and reported the assault, stating that the teen had walked out of the woods and said she had just been raped, a release said.

Reilly is being held in the Story County Jail on a $50,000 bond. The teens are currently being held at the juvenile detention facility in Eldora.
