Anyone who participates in the Ames HOT tour also known as the The Historic Old Town Neighborhood Association's annual Old Town Home and Garden Tour on Sunday would be exposed to some of the area's most beautiful homes and gardens all demonstrative of the area's domestic architecture from the 1870's to 1920's.

The Historic Old Town Neighborhood is located just north of Ames downtown. A total of five homes and seven gardens are on tour which runs from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are available for $10 at or on the day of the tour at of Ames at 226 Ninth St.
