When Does School Start in Ames Patch?

 has a later start this year than in years past. First through 12^thgrade students can expect to go back to school on Aug. 23. Kindergartners will stay home just a little longer and start their first day Aug. 27.

Most of our neighbors in Gilbert go back to school Aug. 16. Except for kindergartners who will start their very first day Aug. 27.

This means most Ames students have 38 days left until school begins. Sorry Gilbert you have just 31.
