April 28

Sharika Nicole Frelix, 27, NE Fifth Street, was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and failure to affix a drug tax stamp at NE Fifth Street. She allegedly possessed more than 50 grams of marijuana, police said.

Both charges are Class D felonies punishable by up to 5 years in prison each.

Julie Rasmussen, 43, SW Second Street, was charged with fifth-degree theft at 7:06 p.m. at SE National Drive.

Lon Robert Tullar, 65, SE Ninth Street, was charged with fifth-degree theft at 7:49 a.m. at 410 N Ankeny Boulevard.

May 6

Lisa Hunziker, 52, Parkland Court, was charged with fourth-degree theft and trespass at 4 p.m. N Ankeny Boulevard.

Kari Werner, 42, Patchin Lane, was charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense; at 1:38 a.m. near NE 36th Street and NE Trilein Drive.

May 7

Jacob Trace Bradish, 18, NW Beechwood Street, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct at 12:55 a.m. May 7 at 1155 SW Cherry Street.

May 8

Kirsten Diane Turner, 27, Bondurant, was charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense; and possession of prescription drug at 8:12 a.m. at Interstate 35 in Ankeny.

Robert Scott McClish, 45, NE Seventh Street, was charged with driving while barred habitual offender, at 2:56 a.m. at NW Greenwood Street.

Mark Sienknecht, 43, SW 28th Street, was charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense; near SW Highpointe Drive and Oralabor Road at 12:13 a.m.

May 9

Lori Schnepf, 39, was charged with domestic abuse with injury, a serious misdemeanor, at 1:01 a.m.

Jeffrey Dustin Shoemaker, 29, Des Moines, was charged with operating while intoxicated, second offense; open container at 11:59 p.m. at SW State Street.

Bud Faust, 40, NW College Ave., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 8:51 a.m. at NW College Avenue.

Cara Ann Goering, 19, Chariton, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 1:36 a.m. at S. Ankeny Boulevard.

Kristin Ann Bernhardt was charged with driving while license denied or revoked at 12:03 a.m. at NW Ash Drive.

May 10

Claude Williams, 67, Des Moines, was charged with harassment of public officers and employees, at 1:42 a.m. at East First Street. Police said he failed to provide his true identity during a traffic stop.
